Michael McCullough is a dedicated artist whose love for his craft has placed him in ever growing demand throughout his long career. Born in Texas, his love for the Southwest eventually led him to Albuquerque. Working and traveling as he does, his work reflects the changing landscape and seasons he sees. Whether it is the mountains of the Southwest or the intricate detail of Indian pottery and artifacts he paints, his respect for the history and life of the Southwest region is reflected in all of his work. McCullough is a member of the Choctaw Indian Nation in Oklahoma having been placed on the Roll with the Bureau of Indian Affairs at birth.
