Kids!
Enter your work for all to see and enjoy
during this special celebration year.
Teachers!
Let's show New Mexico what talented youth we
have.
High school
students and recent graduates!
Show your work in a premier venue and get
noticed.
The Youth Exhibit is
designed to encourage students to become
actively involved in the arts and has
evolved into a major show for students
throughout New Mexico. The Youth
Exhibit has grown from 200 entries
to over 1000 entries. Pre-school through
high school are invited to participate.
Artwork is independently judged by highly
respected and successful New Mexico Artists.
All participants receive a participation
ribbon and our Youth
Awards Program, generously
supported by our Artists and Community,
provides award ribbons and cash awards.
If you are interested in volunteering, in
supporting young artists with a cash
donation, or have any questions, please call
Elisa Patterson, Youth Program Director, at
505-259-5126 or the NMACF office. We want
this to be a BIG show for the 50th
anniversary, so let us help you get your
work entered.
In addition to the Youth Exhibit,
there will be fun, hands-on art and craft
activities for "kids of all ages."
Face-painting and musicians are often around
during the duration of the Fair to delight
our audience.

Elisa Patterson is our 2012 Youth
Director. She has spent countless volunteer hours
coordinating the Fair's Youth Exhibit. We would like
to recognize her efforts for keeping this exhibit of youth
arts alive in our fair this year.
