2017 Youth Judge: Dr. Annie Nash

Dr. Annie Nash began teaching in New York City in 1982 at the Chapin School and then collegiate school in Manhattan. She was awarded her Ed. D. in Art Education from Teacher's College, Columbia University in 1987. Nash recently finished her 24th year of teaching VIsual Arts at Manzano Day School in Albuquerque, NM. Her work has appeared in Native American Painters of the Twentieth Century and Talking Visions, and has been exhibited internationally, including a solo exhibit at Musenhof Popendorf in Rostock, Germany.

56th Annual Youth Exhibit
The Youth Exhibit encourages students to become involved with the arts. This special exhibit has evolved into a major showcase for student's artwork throughout New Mexico. Each year a panel of volunteer Judges review and jury the artwork submitted to the summer Fair. Student awards, ribbons and certificates are awarded to the most outstanding student's artwork entered. The Youth Exhibit has grown to over 1000 entries and invites preschool through high school students to participate.
